Bikini Atoll is a remote, highly specialised expedition for serious wreck divers. The lagoon holds an extraordinary concentration of historically significant ships, now becoming part of the reef in remarkably clear Pacific water.
THE DIVING
What to expect
This is not a general recreational itinerary. Depths, overhead environments and the isolation of the atoll call for suitable technical qualifications, recent experience and careful preparation. Pacific Master is equipped for the demands of these expeditions, and Carmen will check the precise requirements before any booking.
WHEN TO GO
Seasons and conditions
Bikini sailings run in limited expedition windows rather than throughout the year. Conditions and individual wreck access remain subject to weather, sea state and the captain’s judgement.
GETTING THERE
Plan the journey
Trips join in the Marshall Islands, normally through Kwajalein. International connections and local permissions need more planning than a typical liveaboard holiday, so flights should only be arranged after the exact departure is confirmed.
