Request your tailored quoteWHY WE LIKE IT
We like Black Pearl because it gives divers a genuine second choice in Palau rather than defaulting to the fleet everyone already knows. Palau rewards confident divers with channel diving, shark action and reef walls, and having space on deck, a sensible dive platform and somewhere quiet to sit between dives makes a week of demanding diving far more enjoyable. It suits photographers and divers who want big-animal encounters without feeling packed in.
MORE CHOICE, NOT LESS
You are never limited to one boat or one resort. Here is who else we work with in the same water, so you can compare before you decide.
Prefer to see everything side by side? Use the destination search on the Explore page.
Palau combines current-fed channel diving with reef walls, caverns, wartime wrecks and Jellyfish Lake. Blue Corner and German Channel are the best known sites, though conditions decide the daily plan. Shark, manta and pelagic encounters are likely but never guaranteed.
Air-conditioned cabins, shaded and open deck space, indoor dining and a dedicated dive deck with camera space. Ask Carmen about cabin layout, bed arrangement and the group size on your chosen sailing.
Best for divers comfortable in current, using reef hooks and drift entries. Palau is rewarding for photographers and for divers who want big-animal action alongside beautiful topside scenery.
Your quote identifies the cabin, sailing dates, dive allowance, nitrox, permits, port fees, transfers and anything charged locally, so nothing is a surprise at the dock.
PLAN THE JOURNEY
Fly into Roman Tmetuchl International Airport (ROR) in Koror, usually via Manila, Taipei, Seoul or Guam. Most guests add a hotel night either side of the cruise; we will match your flights to the embarkation day and arrange transfers.
Palau offers diving all year. December to April is generally drier with lighter winds, while the wetter months can bring more plankton and more feeding activity. Channel sites depend on tides rather than months, so the daily plan is set by conditions.
MAKE IT YOUR HOLIDAY
Share your preferred dates, party and room or cabin preferences in one enquiry. Carmen will check the options and prepare your quote.
