We like Fenides for the balance between Indonesia’s dramatic seascapes and a small, thoughtfully designed home at sea. In Raja Ampat, reef scenes, schooling fish and the possibility of mantas bring variety to the diving, while island views make the surface intervals something to look forward to. Diving in Raja Ampat
The supplier’s seven-night sample route explores central and northern Raja Ampat: Dampier Strait, Gam, Yanggefo, Wayag, Penemu and Batanta. Reef dives and macro sites sit alongside mangroves and time ashore. Wildlife encounters and individual sites are never guaranteed.
Life aboard
Five en-suite cabins include a master suite, two doubles and two twins. Air conditioning, a camera room, outdoor dining and sundecks make room for both active days and quiet surface intervals.

The seven-night example starts and finishes in Sorong. The crew adapts the route to weather, sea conditions and the group. Carmen will confirm the actual sailing, embarkation arrangements and diving requirements before booking.

Getting there
For the Raja Ampat itinerary, arrive at Sorong’s Domine Eduard Osok Airport (SOQ), followed by a transfer to the harbour. Other Fenides routes join in different ports, including Labuan Bajo for Komodo. We will match onward flights to the confirmed itinerary before you make travel arrangements.
Diving through the seasons
Fenides moves between Indonesian regions rather than offering the same route all year. Its published late-2026 schedule moves from Komodo and the Banda Sea into Raja Ampat in November and December. Choose the region and marine-life interests first, then we will match them to the vessel’s current sailing calendar.
